Children are the most innocuous of the human beings. They know no pretensions or exaggeration. They are what they look. And as Mr. Gaurav Sharma, the author of “Love @ Airforce”, “Rapescars” , “Dawn at Dusk” sums up, “Childhood is no less than a fairy tale. Even vices like greed, jealousy, and naughtiness are innocent during that period.” Keeping the thoughts in mind, Mr. Sharma decided to pen down different facets of childhood and the brainchild of his thoughts is “Unbudgeted Innocence”. "Dasharajna" is the third book in Harappa series authored by Shankar N. Kashyap. This is the story based on the main event within the seventh book of Rigveda. It is the story of an epic battle between Sudas of Bharata and Cayamana of Anus leading a confederacy of ten disgruntled Kings. It takes place on the banks of river Ravi. It is also a battle between the two of the most powerful sages of Rigveda. Vasishta and Vishwamitra. Extensive research into the Vedic scriptures and archaeological records have helped create a fascinating insight into the geography of the battle. It is a battle whose result is paradigm shifting in that the outcome decided the future of the great epics of India - Ramayan and Mahabharata. The book has a proper preface followed by a proper introduction of the characters and contemporary relevance of the places. “Enta Habibi” is a beautiful book written by Reetwika Bannerjee. It compiles five beautiful stories which depict different shades and forms of love. There is a story which tells about vengeful love and another one narrates betrayal in love. Then, there is this story which talks about immoral love. Ms. Banerjee has entwined the theme of her stories with Colour Wheel Theory of Love proposed by John Lee. She juxtaposes the colours Blue, Red, Black, Grey and Pink which depict different forms of romance as in – Emerging Love, Failure in Love, Betrayals in Love, Immoral Love and Sweet and Sour Love via the stories “Man of the Tournament”, “Miles Apart”, “Haunted Refuge at Itachuna Royal Palace”, “Two Onions and A Skull” and “Love Just Happened” respectively.
